Most of my Semi-Autos like to be run 'wet'... So when I'm at the range or shooting a match, I juice them pretty good... Experiment to find what your pistol likes...

This is the first good news I've heard about holsters for the Shield. Im calling Gary tomorrow and see if he can make a nice shoulder holster fo me. I don't like ankle or Small of Back carry for my back-up gun. The primary is my Les Baer .45ACP on the hip in a Milt sparks VMII. Thanks! All...

Thanks Rodcraft... Yes I have a Phoenix for one of my 1911s. And yer right about their vertical rig... But, I just can't seem to find a holster that isn't 3 inches too long or an inch too short!:( And, I realize I'll likely need to strap it to my belt to keep it secure... That's the problem...

Hi All... I'm finally going to brake down and buy a new rig for the 5" 629. I've been carrying it in a makeshift rig I worked up and it's just not cutting the mustand. I did find a kydex holster, but I'm thing leather or something like Uncle Mikes to carry on the shoulder. Any Suggestions...

Sorry to hear that the 310 is not to your liking... My plans are to pick one up in 2 weeks at our local gun show... Salivating in the meantime. I'm a BIG 10mm fan! Delta Elite with an early serial #(safe queen), Kimber Eclipse in 10mm (bowling pin duty and USPSA once in a while) - can't wait...
