The LCP's trigger is much better than the BG's, especially the newest generation of LCP. If S&W would do something for that awful trigger they would have a winner.

I really don't know if it would ever fall out. I guess it is possible if one continued to shoot it with it loose and with mag loads. I used the lock tight on mine and it held it solid up until I sold it.

I had one that did the same thing. I put a drop of red lock title on each side of the shield and let it soak in good. Wiped off the excess and let dry for about a week before I shot it anymore. It never moved again.

Sounds like you may have a side plate screw that's backed out. The one closest to barrel is the one that holds the crane in the frame. I'd start there and see if it needs tightening.

I've been a LEO for over 13yrs now and have encountered numerous criminals with firearms. Every now and then I will find a pistol in a holster tucked under a seat. Normally its rare though for a criminal to use a holster.
