I would agree agree to try a very small amount of filing or even just some polishing and see if that helps. I did buy some non-S&W clips off of ebay and found that I had to sand down some burs before they would work well enough.

I suppose I could put the APEX spring back in and test it and the striker clean but really, it shoots fine and I really don't think the spring made all that much of a difference anyhow, mostly what I wanted/needed was the trigger itself and the pull.

I contacted them about lightstrike issues. They did not seem to think that it was their spring. They suggested I clean out the striker. Which in all honesty, was covered with brass shavings. However, I also changed back to the stock spring so I don't really know for sure which solved the issue.

Don't waste your cash on Galloway Guide rods, you can get a stainless steel guide rod for a Glock 17 and they work great at probably half the price.

Ok thanks. I had a 40c and I hated the trigger. I'm considering the 5" Pro for IDPA. I'm concerned that I'll get taken out of SSP if I changed the trigger though.

Yeah, I have heard that. Did you have the 5"Pro or the 4"?

I keep hearing conflicting reports and I just wanted to see if anyone has any definitive answer on this. Does the Pro series in fact have an improved trigger. I've everything from that it's the exact same to that it includes the Apex trigger parts. So, does anyone know for sure?
