    I was like you too. I really wanted a Shield in 9MM cause I thought the .40 would be to snappy for me. Ended up getting the Shield in .40. I love it. It's not as snappy as you might think. It's real manageable and I'm only 5'6 and 140 lbs.

    Just got my Shield .40 back from repair they said they replaced the Mag Catch. The mag seems to be snapping in with a more noticeable snap to it. Plus the mag seems to be more firmly seated now. Have to go to the range this weekend to test it out.
