When you rack the slide and pull the trigger, try lifting up on the veryrear of the slide. That's possibly an issues of the trigger bar bow needing a slight (increase) adjustment on the gap. A 5 minute fixbut since you paid a smith, take it back. Good luck!

I bought a few of the newer mags with the square holes and have some older base pads with round holes I'd like to match. Does anyone know of a place who has the round hole (steel) base pad retainer in stock? thanks much.
