    Questions about my 3906

Great price! IWB is a great option for this pistol. I wanted one to that very reason I only own 2nd gens a 645 & 659 . If you ever want to sell it p.m. me or we can talk trades. I go with simply rugged for my holster needs they make owb / iwb models with removable straps. I think you can get a...

    645 or 1911 ???

I do carry my 645 with custom coco boll grips in a simply rugged cuda. My friend has a very nice Kimber I shot once. Having said that I prefer the 645 . If you trust your life and others with something you want rugged reliability safer and less recoil . Save the over priced 1911 for the range...

4006 L.E. trade in fixed or adjustable sights?

I know there are a ton of 3rd gen fans out there so please help me choose. At our adventure outdoors they have a ton of 5906 & 4006 from a recent law enforcement trade in. I was wondering which to choose fixed or adjustable both are the same price but in my books it says the adjustable is worth...

    Carry methods for J-Frames

I carry my model 60 no dash with larger custom wood grips in a iwb holster & my 645 in a cheap shoulder rig. Way easier to draw the 60 faster.

"Ruger Only" load compatable SW revolvers?

Very simple , I read on buffalo bores site that please do not call them or write about shooting the higher power loads in s&w revolvers & if people kept shooting them & wrecking guns they would stop making them altogether. Everyone on this forum has good info but i would trust the people that...

    Considering a 3rd gen - 4006

Ok I'm jumping in on This conversation. I have a chance to get a 4006 that has some type of coating I forgot the name but it adds a yellowish dull to the gu. I don't like but the dealer told me it increased. Its durability. Its 500 and has what I would call an almost match grade triggerand...

Opinions on S&W 380 Bodyguard and Tarus TCP

The taurus pt111 is not too bad It's small enough for a pocket & shoots 9mm I'm fairly happy only had it jam once & that's when my girlfriend shot it ( limp wrist ?) . I'm a huge fan of older s&ws but the new ones (ive read on here ) seem to have as many issues as much as other companies ... But...

Questions on the 5906 and 6906 semi autos.

I have a 2nd gen 659 , I'm unsure as well about the 6906 is it an alloy frame ? Or just a impact model . Either way my 659 was a police trade in I got for 300 bucks . I've put hours of work into cleaning & modifying the back strap insert to fit . Add some wood grips & I'm very pleased . All...
