I could not agree more. I love the 460 XVR but the good ole .44 Mag is the MOST versatile handgun hunting round. In fact, if I could only have one handgun, it would be a .44 Mag.

I have an 8 3/8 inch 460 XVR I have the 8 3/8 inch standard XVR (non PC) and I could not imagine wanting any longer barrel on my XVR. I do not know why you would want the longer barrel? I carry mine in a Simply Rugged holster and chest strap (great holster). I could not imagine carrying a 10...
