i have done it, i just used flits and mothers wax this pic was taken bout a year ago and it still looks the same today.

minimum 2 inch group at 7 yards and ime happy, rapid fire 5 round bursts 6 inches or so and ime happy, if i do my part the gun will do it's part.thats not as good as alot of folks but it will get the job done if ever needed!!!!!

Ime like you i think the striker block is 50% of this from what most are talking about (gritty),I should have added i didnt use a sanding block i used 800 grit and put the plunger in a coardless drill,and also used the drill on the sear very carefully.

got my 5906 3 mags box all the papers and even the wax wraping paper for 450 but i would have gave 500 in a heartbeat people are swooping these things up like crazy now for some reason.

for my carry gun i use gun butter you can look it up not alot of gun shops has it but it is great stuff, for my safe queeens just rem oil or winchester gun oil.

If you want something about the same size,it is more expensive but well worth it the trigger is like breaking glass get a sig 238 and you'll never look back
