    Current Shield Prices

    I just picked up a Shield 9 no safety at a local SW FLorida gun show for $400. I did see some for $350 but they were from Pawn dealers that would not take a trade in.

    M&P 9 trigger

    Apex USB is the single most effective part to fixing the gritty M&P trigger. The sear is nice too, but the USB made 90% of the difference.

    Can you cite an instance of a prosecutor doing this? If a self defense shoot is ruled legal, it shouldn't matter what you used. Deadly force is deadly force is deadly force. Repeating this hogwash does no one any good.

    I would offer that almost no one actually uses the sights in a close range gun fight. If new sights make you shoot better on paper, go for it. Of course there is absolutely nothing wrong with the factory sights for defensive use.

    Only you can answer if it's worth it to you. For many, its not. None of that work, is difficult to do. The front sight is harder to do without a sight pusher than the rear. The DCAEK is easy if you have set of punches and a hammer.

    Upgrades!!

    I had to use a flat edge screwdriver and a deadblow to get my sights to move. It was a chore to get them recentered using a hammer.
