    Rail length questions

Thanks for the advice Dannybot! I went with the spector length Yankee Hill Diamond Series. It's listed at 15.9oz, every other spector rail that I looked at was 11-12oz. I can sacrifice the 3 or 4oz for the look that I really want.

    New M&P15OR

I too just bought an OR. Went with it mostly because of price, got mine for $850. I wanted to go with the S&W name and quality and feel like I definitely got that with this gun. I currently have some cheaper metal BUIS on it that the LGS sold me for $30. They are cowitnessed through a Bushnell...

    Rail length questions

Phil, I'm leaning toward the Spector length right now. What has block did you go with?

    Rail length questions

Billyjack, what low-pro gas block did you go with? I've seen many out there just not sure what I should go with.

    Tactical case

Got a 42" Voodoo tactical double rifle case for Christmas. Had no idea I was getting it. It's perfect though. Holds two rifles with a divider. Multiple pockets on the outside. And a big zippered pocket to hold hold two pistols. And has the backpack straps.

    Rail length questions

First off, Merry Christmas everyone! Second, as I've said before I'm fairly new to the board and to the AR platform. I'm looking to buy a quad rail for my m&p OR model. My question is what length should I go with for my rail. Carbine, mid-length, forearm? Or is this just a personal Preference...

    Cerakote Shield

Anybody had their guns coated in Cerakote? Particularly a shield. I have one for my EDC and looked at coating it to protect it from holster wear.

    Tactical case

That Condor looks exactly like what I'm wanting to get. Probably go with the 42" to just allow for other rifles. Thanks!

    Tactical case

What kind of case do you guys prefer? I'm leaning toward a soft case. Something that will hold multiple guns, has backpack straps, and extra pockets for pistols, ammo, and mags. Any suggestions?

Which gun? XDs or Shield? (9mm)

IMHO, and granted I haven't had my Shield long at all, but I do own both. For a CCW I'd say the Shield is better. It's more slim and compact, no worries about printing. But for an overall pistol, I'd go with my XD. I love that thing, it's so reliable. It's just not comfortable to carry.

    Shield 40

May sound like a dumb question, but how are you guys able to tuck your shirt and keep your holster stable and clipped on.

    Shield 40

Hey guys I'm pretty new to the board, spending most of time on the AR page. However, I picked up MY new Shield 40 today from the LGS. I have a few questions for you guys: 1. What IWB holster do you guys recommend? I know everybody has their own preference. Just looking for a few...

    Light mount

I'm mounting it on the rail. The light "barrel" (handle) diameter is 1.25"

    Light mount

Dual output. I finally found a few options. Gear sector makes one and Viltor does as well. Larue also has one that requires separate parts that I wasn't too fond of.

    Light mount

I came across a good deal on a Surefire Fury tTactical light and was hoping to mount it on my AR. But, the barrel diameter on the light is 1.25" and most light mounts are for 1". Any suggestions??

    NEWBIE - M&P15OR??

I went into one of the local gun shops and showed them the Cabela's sale price on the OR model. They matched it so I was able to get it for $850, very happy with that. Especially in today's market. While I was there they brought out some cheap irons that a previous customer had returned because...
