Cool! I kind of want one of these, just because. I guess it's nice that it can use several different types of ammo. However, the though of actually shooting any of them is...sphincter clenching. I guess .45 wouldn't be too bad...

My 66-2, 3". I was slightly surprised by the low recoil. Very nice to shoot.

I've had reason to start using the IL on my revolvers that have them. I was glad to have the option. No problems. Always go bang. And I know this is heresy, but I'll say it anyway: I like the look of the lock. It looks mechanical. I dig it. I'm sorry.

I've come to prefer Pachmayr grips over Hogue (though I like the Hogue bantam grips) as far as rubber grips go. The Hogue grips just feel...hollow...to me, like I'm not gripping something solid. With the Pachmayrs I feel like I'm holding onto something much more substantial/solid.

I picked up some SWHC last fall. It was a bit of an emotional purchase, since I (obviously) like S&W. But I also thought it might be a good time to jump in. So far, so good. Please purchase lots of S&W products, and encourage others to do the same. Thank you :p

THANK YOU! I can't believe I've been so dense. I got out some other revolvers and, of course, they have a pin. I guess I never looked closely enough to realize that it was actually an inserted pin, rather than part of the frame itself. Thanks again for your patience, everyone...and for not...

UPDATE (I'm sure you were all waiting for this :rolleyes: ) Got a new pin and put it in. Problem solved. But... Why do the two types of frames exist (with and without integral grip pin)? It seems like no type of grip would fit without the grip pin to keep the grip from sliding around at the...
