I purchased the revolver at the LGS and all I can say is WOW! The "fit and finish" is great! The trigger is very nice. Hopefully, I can shoot it today at lunch.

I do have one question. After somewhat struggling to load the moon clips (I'm sure I will get feeling back in my thumbs today...), I'm looking for suggestions to make this task easier. What are you all using? Thanks!

I believe that they make a device that makes it easier to load these? I don't have a moon-clip equipped revolver, but I have seen these advertised in the Dillon's catalog before. I'm sure that many other vendors carry these too.

Go to revolversupply.com and order the moon clip tool. You need it. Moon clips are the best, simply the fastest way to load and unload your revolver. Great for carry situations, as fast as reloading a magazine on a semi-auto.

Yes. The Moon Clip Tool and the tubular moon clip unloader are essential accessories for .38/.357 moon clip use. Pay attention to what brands of ammo a given moon clip is made for -- some brands have different configurations and will not work with some moon clips. Use the ammo that they specify and use the moon clip tools and you will love using moon clips.

George at Revolver Supply is the one stop shopping place for all your moon clip needs. He was more than willing to explain and answer all the questions I had about moon clips and what works best for the different brands of ammo. The moon clip loading tool is a must but you can make your own demooner using a golf club handle.

i went to the range at lunch. I put 50 rounds of 357 and 50 of 38 sp. It shot great!

You know you got something in your hand is going to put a wallup on the bad guy. If you keep the crush grip some writers mention, you're ok. If not, you get instantaneous feedback.

I also talked to Revolver Supply and placed my order for the moon clip loader and some moon clips. He is a great guy to do business with.
