I picked it up yesterday and took it out this morning. 150 rounds later and I'm impressed. From ball ammo to hollow points to SWC lead not a hiccup. It took a couple of mags to get a feel for it but when I did Wow! This going to be a great pistol.
I like Ruger's SA and own them in 41 and 44. I have owned a Redhawk and GP100. The RH was a dog and the GP was alright but nothing to write home about. To me the trigger and action on S&W double actions are smooth as glass and I haven't personally handled a Ruger out of the box that can touch...
I've been reading here for a while and finally decided to join. My first Smith and Wesson was a 916 pump shotgun I saved for by mowing lawns. I have both revolvers and autos and am definitely a S&W fan.
