YouTube so called expert videos...most confusing....

I thought everything on the internet was always true. :) I completely agree, there is some great stuff out there, but a lot of junk too. It gets frustrating sometimes when you're looking for good information. That's why I gave up gun reviews a long time ago.

Thanks epj, that's what I was wondering. Appreciate the reminder on the cylinder too, using the right words avoids confusion.

    Help identifying a hand ejector

it was closer to 300, I actually wanted another victory i had one with timing issues that I very much miss. I do wish it was in original condition, but revolvers are scarce around here so i don't get to be very picky. Ill have to find some ammo and give it a go, then I'll probably see if I can...

    Help identifying a hand ejector

Thanks DWalt, I thinking it may have been a refinished Victory but the caliber confused me. I wasn't aware of the British ones or that they were made in .38 S&W. I'll have to see if I can track down some ammo. The casing length is the only difference between the two rounds? (well besides...

Hey guys, Obviously I didn't look to close when I picked this up yesterday, I thought and was told it was a model 10 .38 special. Now that I've actually looked at it I have no idea what model or caliber it is. Any Help would be appreciated. It's a hand ejector Serial is V 355014 Looks like it...

What would be your choice for EDC semi

IWI Jericho for me, hard to beat the quality for the money too, ironically the cheapest guns I have, that's not a .22. My .45 is my EDC, and the only auto I will carry. It is a pretty big gun, but it's backed up by an N frame so obviously not a problem for me. I'd you can find one in Calli...

How Often Do You Change Your Carry Ammo?

Usually one mag or drum / speed loader every other month for me, which ends up every six months for the whole rotation. I keep two spares for each, blast one at the range, and rotate after my fill of cheep FMJ . my house guns however every six months, unless they make it to the range before...

    Whats happening inside your safe?

Pretty snazzy, I'm just using desiccant and a few of those "eva-dry" hockey pucks to see where I'm at. A remote viewing option would be nice though. But it has been working well for a good many years for me.

    Little beggars

Not one so far, while blames those nut case clown guys. I'm not sure what to think. Pretty bummed it's my favorite holiday of the year. I love seeing all the kids smiles light up the night. This is almost creepy.

    S&W .357 Model 66-1

Looks great by the pictures. I edc a 66-4 and love it. Now a days $500 would be a good price on it. If you're asking if it's in firing shape, it looks good but hard to say by the pictures. Don't see an issue but hard to say. If you're worried but want to try it, use .38 special first. And move...

    Do only "old"guys edc revolvers

I'm 27 and I carry two every day. A 66 and a 629. Have carried wheel guns since I got my permit at 21. Only rarely with an automatic usually a Sig 1911 or a p227.

    RIA 200 .38 Special revolver 6 shot.

I sold one a month ago for 180, and was happy to get that. But it seems like prices are starting to creep up again. I think 200 for a new one is about right.
