    I'd try the Talon's first as well, have them on both my pistols and love them...they do the trick. Take that money you save and get a set of nights sights or something.

    Well there ya go, interesting...maybe I'll see if I can find out what the trick is. I like the grip, feels nice, but my problem was getting that cap over the pin so it would lock in place.

    649-2 Hogue grip question

    Thanks for the info, I pretty much gave up on it. I battled that grip trying to get it on and was starting to tear it up fighting to get it to fit. Wish it would have worked out, I liked the feel of the grip, was a bit wider than the one I have on there now. Guess I'll keep looking.

    Hello everyone, I picked up a Hogue Tamer grip for my 649-2 to help soften the recoil for my girlfriend in case she ever needed to use it. Grip states it's for J Framed 642s, I have it on my 649 at moment but wasn't able to stuff the small slide piece that goes in the rear part of the grip...
