NO OPTIC CUT + 1913 RAIL = NO BUY The SIG p365 XL with the Tactical Development Rail is the choice IMHO. Manual Safety to appendix carry for me. Love my Shield V1 in it's day, but too little, too late, in 2021.

Well, after both Magpul and Smith & Wesson told me the MAGPUL MOE SL HANDGUARD and SPORT 2 were compatible, they're not. I have to remove the front sling attachment from the barrel. Can anyone tell me the best way to remove the pin that attaches the front sling attachment & what exactly I need...

Ugh. You're right. I'm wrong. I'm getting confused by all the names/models that Vortex offers. would a AR owner buy a "Strikefire 2" if the newer "Sparc AR" is available, and the "Sparc AR" is specifically made for AR rifles?

I posted in the last thread that the Vortex 1x was NOT good for 2 eye open shooting and I went with a Holosun HS503g instead........ Still don't see the reason for buying and old, replaced optic, and for that matter, the reason for that other thread being locked.....

Agreed. Admittedly, I probably overpaid at $220 for the Primary Arms/Holosun HS503g red dot. But, I really love that ACSS reticle. Nothing else out there like it, especially in a red dot, as far as I know. After a month of researching, I'm relieved that I'm done.

Yup. I was obviously referring to the SPITFIRE, which is a prism. We all know red dots don't have issues with both-eyes-open. Frankly, it makes no sense for the STRIKEFIRE to even be in a current thread since it's been replaced by newer and better models. But, hey, the joke is on me...

Is it me, or does your $20 red dot & riser combo look EXACTLY like the Primary Arms red dot they sell for $90 with riser ????

The Sparc AR is a a TRUE red dot, so it's always clear. The Spirtfire AR is a 1x scope, so the picture is not always clear based on how many eyes I had open, and my eye location in relation to the glass. That was MY experience after personally testing all the sites/scopes for myself. Your...
