Adding Foregrip to a 100% stock Sport2: exact proven parts list and instructions?

Grip Pod (broom stick) is well designed to use when there isn't sufficient room to better grip the handguard as illustrated in the above pic posted by WVSig. Otherwise... forget about it.

But if a person just wants to shoot from a bipod and now and then hold the rifle in their hands, then it'll work. Though if the intent is to shoot from the bench a free float handguard and a good bipod would be the way to go.

And so the AR parts box begins... :D

Well, after both Magpul and Smith & Wesson told me the MAGPUL MOE SL HANDGUARD and SPORT 2 were compatible, they're not.

I have to remove the front sling attachment from the barrel.
Can anyone tell me the best way to remove the pin that attaches the front sling attachment & what exactly I need to buy?
How much $ is fair to pay someone to remove the sling attachment, mount a handguard & red dot, and zero it in?
I've already separated the upper and removed the stock handguard.
Thanks in advance.

They are compatible... you just have to remove the sling attachment by punching out the pin.
