I have seen both of these styles. Is one better than the other? My other 3rd gens have novak sights. Those early sights look adjustable? Novaks are better i assume?

Is it common for the etching to become faded/hard to read on the tactical series? Seen some it is very dark and easy to read and a few that are very light. And I am assuming it is laser etching?

Same issue here on a brand new 15-22 with factory mags. You had to pull the mags out. I called S&W and lady told me to run 1000 rounds through it... I told her that is not going to make magwell any bigger. She basically said they will not do anything until it has had 1000 rounds through it. So...

I plan on putting a ton of rounds through it.. extra mags and a loader come in handy. I find the .22 is a pain and slow to load 25 round mags. My .223 is much easier to load.. but a lot more expensive to shoot...
