Yes, it is 40 caliber, but third generation police trade ins are hard to find, CDNN is selling good to very good CHP trade in 4006 TSW's with the box for $399.99..

Dang... If it wasn't for California's handgun purchasing laws, I'd be ordering a few of those. Ironic that something the CHP spec'd and ordered is unavailable in CA due to the DOJ "handgun roster"

It's pretty painful seeing them go for dirt cheap in free states while here a regular 4006 goes for at least $200 more when they do even show up. I've yet to see a CHP TSW in either a consignment store or Calguns.

Yeah... the only way one is going to come up for sale here is for someone that's exempt (LEO) from the roster to sell the one they have... fat chance. And even if one does come up for sale, it's going to be priced ridiculously high.

Im surprised the supply hasnt dried up yet. I remember I had seen these started to pop up maybe 3 yrs ago, but swore them off because they were 40 and some sellers still want 450 plus. But I changed my mind when my buddy's shop got some in. He let me hand pick one for just under 363 out the door with 3 mags. Since Oct I managed to snag another 16 mags for under 13 a piece shipped and bought a olight and streamlight.
