On the Shield plus, s+w moved to an oversized ejector from the gen 1 shield. Any marring on the mags? Try giving the mag a firm bump from below to see if it still exhibits. My gen 1 snaps in and never fell out. Have you access to gen 1 to see how it performs in comparison?

Been thinking to get mine ported. Barrel and slide. If you don't mind, could you take a picture of the port on the barrel? It looks angled. Also got a ruler? How far back is the port? 1.2“? My 1.0 with grip tape.

I tried them because I wanted range spares and they came in 10 rd capacity. They function fine for me. I think the negative was my set doesn't always lock the slide after the last round. If I could do 10 in s+w mags I would. I used magguts in my s+w and each one now has plus one without any...

My shield 9 was still greasy from the coating when it came in it's box packaging. Maybe a shipping issue or your someone dropped it. Doesn't make sense that it's to the metal unless something of harder metal contacted it. Post pictures please.

Hinge triggers were novelty to safety. If s+w really believed in them, they should have kept them in their new releases and performance options .. but you can see where that went.

Shouldn't require any force once the tab is pressed in on the spring plate.. That base plate slides out with ease. Sounds like the base plate was ruined while removing it initially
