Over the next year or so, I'll be selling most of my collection through Rock Island Auction. About 60 of my Smith & Wessons (plus about 60 of my serial number one guns) will be in the Dec. 9-11 Premiere Auction.
This link should take you to a list of most of the Smiths (mostly Model 3's):
Auction Catalog 87 | Rock Island Auction
Just click on the title or photo at that page to go to a full catalog description of the gun. Do a search for "Supica" on that RIA page if you want to see all my guns in the sale.
Here's a link to my Twelve Revolvers set Number One in the same auction:
Number "1" Smith & Wesson "The Twelve Revolvers" Set with Boxes | Rock Island Auction.
In This Auction:
* Theodore Roosevelt's New Mod. #3
* Gen. Leonard Wood's .44 DA - one of several historically attributed or inscribed revolvers in the sale.
* Young factory engraved panel scene New Mod. #3
* Schofield serial number one (part of my s/n 1 collection)
* Gustave Young engraved international exhibition American (one of several factory or New York engraved Model 3s in the auction.)
Many of these have been displayed at national firearms museums and been featured as illustrations in various books and on TV shows. I've delighted in owning them for decades. Now it's someone else's turn! -- Jim
