I picked a 3000 up last year and love it. Ordered one of the Bud's used Model 10 square butt's too. As soon as it comes in I'll have a retro police set up!

I own a Model 1000M 12 ga 3-inch chamber which came with full choke.
I recently purchased another barrel with screw-in chokes. It is identified as Model 1000 Super 12. However, it does not fit on my gun!
It is about 1/2" longer than the original barrel between the gas ports and the breech! Anyone know why? Want to trade a barrel?

Are there replacement barrels for the 3000? I saw one years and years ago with rifle sights but didn't pick it up then.
The shotgun looks like an 870. I guess it would be to much to hope 870 barrels would fit it, right?

The manual is a single sheet printed on both sides. The pdf is the complete manual.
You'll have to check eBay and gun shows for the actual printed manual.

I need help! I have a S&W Model 1500 270 and as I was cleaning it a part in the bolt moved and now I cannot re-assemble the rifle or put the bolt back in. Please help!

I have a Model 3000 with a rifled slug barrel. Wonder if there are other barrels available for it.
The guy who is sleeping with my wife has the actual S&W manual for the Model 1000 ; )
ko41, my manual is different than yours and appears to be older. 1973. Yes, it is one sheet, however it contains a complete parts list, 14" x 11" exploded view of the the entire gun.
dduxda, shoot me a PM. I can make a copy of this an either email or send you a hard copy.
Also, there is a rubber O ring in these guns. They do not handle cleaning solvents very well, so take it easy! Don't go nuts with cleaning solvent and oils. There was a shop, Lone Star Guns, in Texas. They were selling a synthetic replacement O ring that was impervious to cleaning solvents, etc. They had a fire years ago, but I believe they reopened.
