New guy here and I already own one of the standard 15-22s, but now I am looking at the Performance center. Anybody got one? How does it shoot, groups? How is the trigger? What about the weight of the rifle? Thanks so much...Kirby

I recently purchased the PC model. Nice gun but I haven't had a chance to work it at anything farther than 50'. Here's a couple of targets with me shooting the PC against the MOE with different ammo. At 50', I wouldn't buy the PC over the MOE, but, we'll see.

Hobie....

Your MOE version....that does not have the match barrel correct? Thanks Kirby

That's correct. The PC version has a fluted barrel and a tighter chamber. It's also about an 1 1/2" longer. However, at close range, they both shoot about the same groups.

Thanks buddy. Curious to see what happens at 50yds off bags with good ammo scoped. Thanks Kirby

Just came from Smith and Wesson Retail Store.. you could say right from the horses mouth... handled the PC model and the Moe.. I want em both!!! As far as shooting, haven't shot the PC yet, but pretty sure I will soon.. :D We own the standard MP15-22 from last year and love it... only makes sense to get another one.. right.. :) Yep, only saw my usually 12 guns that I gotta have...

I'm dying to see 50 yards on sandbags with Wolf Match or Aguila Match Rifle... I can't take the suspense much longer...

I too am pumped. I just might go look at one tomorrow

I too can't hardly wait to see how the results are. I'm waiting on weather and membership to a outdoor range that i belonged to 10 years ago.

If the indoor targets are any indication of the accuracy of both guns, it will be very interesting to start shooting at ever increasing distances.

As soon as I get back out, I'll post pics.

Hopefully this weekend

I too am anxious to get outdoors and take the time to see how the 2 do. I'm starting at 25yds and moving out to eventually the 100yd target.

We'll see. I have several different boxes of ammo and I'll post pics this weekend(I hope:))

Good deal buddy. I think after work today I am going to fondle one. I want to see the difference in balance and see if that really is a nice two stage trigger.

Hobie...

Well what did the results say? How did it stack up compared to the regular one? thanks Kirby

Well, so far, I haven't been able to get a solid test platform but the PC shoots tighter than the MOE but not as much as I thought it might. However, I'm working on a better bench rest situation and will post as soon as possible.
So far, I'm not sure if the PC is that much better but time and money will tell.....:)

Keep me posted. It is on the short list, but if it doesn't shoot that much better I might just go the SR and put a custom barel on it. Thanks Kirby
