Best Zombie Gun Ever?

Hey if anyone wants a copy of The Zombie Survival Guide. I have it in .pdf format, PM me your email and I will send it to you.

This thread single-handedly inspired my range trip this morning.

If zombies were coming at me from 60ft away, I think I'll be OK

PS - This zombie kind of looks like Hugh Laurie

My personal thoughts are there is no perfect answer. 15-22 is a good dual purpose weapon in this scenario because it can be used for zombie killing and small game hunting(i have seen deer taken down with a .22lr).

I have carried a combat load of 5.56 and would say for a long lasting answer it would be hard to carry the hundreds of rounds needed for long term survival.

Me and the wife both have SIGs for personal defense but even carring a large amount of ammo would be hard. ( i have a P220 and she has a P239 in 9mm)

My neighbors and i talked about this last night and can to the conclusion tha a 5.56 or 9mm would be great because of the ammo available at ghost military bases.

I would have my .22 with me no matter what!!

My thoughts

the only advantage i can see is eventual reloadability for the 5.56/.223....no matter what i would have a .22 with me preferably with a suppressor as well

i did some rough calculating today and in daypack i can fit roughly 6000 rounds of .22LR and still shoulder it--its heavy but not bulky--try that with .223s

also the long term upkeep on a .223 would be a bit more intensive--and there is also the fact that most hardware/sporting goods/ gun stores will be picked clean for large-caliber ammo...the lil 22s will get skipped over at first

It needs to be placed a little farther out on the 15-22, but this looks like it might work in a last ditch QCB.

That's possibly the stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life. If you are going to put a bayonet on your shotgun, which is completely ridiculous, at least make sure it extends past the muzzle.

Zombies are mesmerized by the beam of a green laser at night. I like to relax on the back deck in the evening with a cold adult beverage... and just wait to hear the pitter-patter of zombie feet walking to the laser... BANG!

.30-40 Sporterized Krag. Browning Auto Five (16 or 12) with Breneke Slugs.

The Krag handles loose round better. My hand will probably be shaking.

One shot does all.

I'm surprised this thread is still active, the last Zombie weapon thread was shut down almost immediately because it was "another Zombie thread".

Maybe it was shut down because I posted pics of the most awesomest Zombie eradicator ever! ;) Let's try it again...oh it's got to be 5.56 all the way for aerating Zombie skulls as it works both close and far.

LOL I just never could evolve into the tacticool era, guess its just old age

22 long rifle barely penetrate the skull of beaver taken from traps fired from a 10/22, i put little faith in one.

Maybe he likes to get them in a little too close for comfort

I vote for a Remington 870 Express, 18-1/2" barrel and mag extender, or a Springfield M1A1 SOCOM 16. Save the .22 for plinking and bagging rodents.
