Best Zombie Gun Ever?

I like my zombie gun

I personally think the 15-22 is a good choice for Z-day. Its lightweight and you can place numerous goodies on it. Plus the ammo is lightweight as well. I would prefer to have lots of small caliber rounds then few larger caliber rounds. I have about 5000 in each of my bug out bags. One key factor is that the 15-22 looks like a .223 rifle from the front. If you run into raiders they might think twice about doing something based on the look of the rifle. Just my two cents and yes I have put a lot of thought into this. If your ready for Z-day then your ready for anything.
 
If zombies take over the planet i'm not grabbing a .22 i'm grabbing my s&w model 686 .357 magnum revolver with a 4 inch barrel.

Um, ok. In that hypothetical situation, how would you respond to these "raiders" when they realize you're packing a 22LR, pull out their 5.56 ARs and start landing accurate hits on you from 300+ meters?

Man, with Zeds you gotta destroy the brain integrity and a .22 LR isn't gonna penetrate the skull at far enough range to avoid getting splashed with Zombie Virii!, you need stand off distance and skull shattering power! 50-grain hollow point .223 in an S&W OR with a Leupold combat 4x sight, minimum!

Who doesn't do that Zed fiction, that's the wife's area of expertise.
 
The recoil is not there, which means your gonna be more accurate. That being said, shoot them in the eyes and nose.. The "T" zone and BAMB, dead Zombies... Kukri for back up.Mr sig's P226 and his 46 friends of 9mm."i have th 18 rnd mags" I personaly like my sks.. 30 caliber and little recoil.... not a light gun, but it has a Bayonet already attached.. how much better can that get? Oh i have the tapco 20rnd mags and after 500 rounds there still working great. tough mags.

Its gonna have to be the 44 mag. low capacity yes but most nock down power ive ever seen with a hand gun and when you run out of bullets you got a heavy duty billy club till ya get more rounds. Back up.... The trusty 9 mm hollow point 147 grain aka. The mellon popper! As far as rifles go. The ar 15 everytime. And any gauge shotty is handy for close and personal..... Just aim high!
 
I would want something with a bit more bang.
A 22 probably wouldn't destroy the brain.
I'd take an 870 with some Bolo Shot.
And a hi cap 226.
 
My Springfield XD 9 with Spree Gold Dot hollow points will do fine for me.

I might chose some different- but similar weapons,
but caliberwise, I'm with you, and almost feel pity for those poor zombies :D

:D lol... never saw that before.

I would like to see companies do a tie-in with the upcoming World War Z movie. Can you imagine if Winchester was to get product placement for their M-22 ammo!? :eek: The boxes would be collector items.
