Unpinning A 10 Round Mag
There was a posting that showed how to remove the pin on a 10 round mag using a long screw driver. Can someone direct me to that posting. Thanks.

It depends on the mag, how they are fixed at 10 rounds. Some have a pin, some have a spacer, and some you cannot convert to > 10 rounds without replacing the entire mag tube.

Used a drill and a toothpick, took two minutes. Leaves hole in magazine slightly larger than a BB. Worked perfect in first try, shoots perfect. YouTube it, it's the guy with the tan looking 15-22. His shows exactly where to drill.

Why does that matter? That is purely cosmetic.

Take a dremel and grind off the 10. It's your mag do what you want with it.

Because the 10 to 25 is considered a modification. If it didn't say 10, no officer would know it's been modified. And depending on the new language, it may become illegal.

What if the mags were in a fire and got a little melted?
