Does S&W sell a complete M&P 15-22 upper?

I've been trying to find out myself. I have a 15/22 pistol I would like to get a 16" upper for. I have to contact them about a revolver. I will try to remember to ask about the upper

Short answer, no. If you looking to swap a 15-22 complete upper on to a regular AR15 don't bother. It doesn't fit.

However there are not many parts needed to complete an upper. Complete barrel assembly, Upper receiver, handguard and barrel nut. All parts needed are listed on:

However the barrel is never in stock. It would be easier to source a takeoff when someone upgraded to a Volquartsen barrel.

A 15-22 is NOT an AR.

I haven't found where you can buy an upper (other than an integrally supressed one) but you can build the upper.

Numrich/Gun Parts Corp has all of the parts (original S&W) for everything to make your own upper.

Or get some aftermarket parts for upgraded things like barrel or handguard.
