Default S&W M&P LaserLyte Rear Laser Sight

Need some advice, do y'all think that the S&W M&P LaserLyte RL-MP Rear Laser Sight will work on the Shield? Now I figure it might be a little on the big side, but I'm just curious if will fit the cut in the slide. Here's some pics as to what I'm talking about. Thanks!!

The Shield's sights are suppose to be universal to the rest of the M&P sights. I ordered XS sights for the M&P FS and they fit on my Shield. Im still hoping CT will develope a laser that will fit on the grip of the Shield so i can still use my holster. I wont hold my breath

The accessory page that came with my shield in May showed CT laser grips available this fall. Go to the SW website and look under the shield page and you should be able to find the accessory PDF.

Yeah they make lasers for the shield but they would go on the front of the gun. This would not all me to use my holster.

I agree...looks like the pending CT front mounted laser would have to cause me to modify my HiddenHybrid holster. As my primary CCW gun, I am hesitant to add anything to my Shield due to changing the weight and slimline design. I might just let mine remain "as is" from the production line.

The holster issue is why I'm looking into this sight. I think a neat set up would be a TFO or XS front sight with this as the rear. The CT laser is nice except it's over $200 bucks & the holster issue.

I had one of these on an 9c a while back. The batteries don't last very long and they are not nearly as bright as a CT. Still have the sight sitting on my work bench. Oh and it changed the POI shot about 3" high at 50'
