I took mine back to the LGS I bought it from and they drifted my rear over enough to make it fairly acceptable for a small deep conceal carry gun. Brass punch. Left an almost imperceptible mark but I didn't care, its a tool not a work of art.
I bought the wheeler engineering pusher from optics planet after doing the punch trick on the front sight. On my BG 2.0 that sight is in extremely tight. When it moves, it moves a lot.I’ve been very pleased with my BG 2.0 except for one thing, it shoots left, as many have reported. At 7 yards the POI is about 4” dead left. I’m sure some will say it’s just me, but it’s not, you’ll just have to trust me.
So obviously the sights need adjusting. The front sight is already a bit off-center to the left, so I thought I’d try moving the rear sight to the right. However, I’ve heard the rear can be very tight and difficult to drift, and I don’t have a pusher tool that will fit this gun.
Any recommendations on what tool might be best, or any other insight on how to best correct this? I’m half tempted to send it to S&W and make them fix it.
I used a slip fit front sight in mine, made for a EZ9. A little orange Loctite has held it rock solid for over a year, after a couple thousand rounds.I moved the rear sight for a friend's BG2.0; the graunching sound it made, when first moved, is grating. The guy who owned the gun was sure I'd broken something, but all was well.
BTW, the new problem seems to be undersized bases for the BG2.0 dovetails. Got a really great Ameriglo front sight, supposedly what is used in the newest BG2.0 variant, with the vented barrel. Right height, right width, but a slip fit in the dovetail.

I'm not familiar with Orange Locktite; is it something new, and more viscous than the other colors? It seems to be the wave of the future for aftermarket sight makers; I suspect too many gun owners don't know how to fit an oversize sight, and they were getting returns.I used a slip fit front sight in mine, made for a EZ9. Orange Loctite is three time stronger than blue but is removable. Like the others, it comes in liquid or gel.I'm not familiar with Orange Locktite; is it something new, and more viscous than the other colors? An XS 'skunk stripe' front sight, now on a field barrel for a S&W 41, is held on with some stick 'em pucky that came with the sights, and, for the moment, it's holding. Thanks, Moon
Are we talking about Loctite 266 or do you have something similar from another manufacturer?Orange Loctite is three time stronger than blue but is removable. Like the others, it comes in liquid or gel.
