Shield With Pearce Extension

The grip extensions I ordered from Pearce arrived today. I installed them & I've got to say I like the way they feel. They sort of make my little Shield feel like one of my compact 3rd Gens, And there's nothing wrong with that!

What grip do you have on it? Did it require any trimming?

Looks like the Pachmayr grip. I have the Hogue on my 40 shield and had to trim the bottom a bit.

It is a Pachmayr. I didn't have to trim it. Some people have said they have a problem with the sleeve slipping on the grip, but I haven't had a problem.

I have one on mine and like it. It doesn't print as much as the extended mag, but still allows me to get a full grip.

Pachmayr grip here no trimming and no slippage. I recommend pachmayer and Pearce extension.

I have the exact same setup on my Shield and I love it. The Pachmyer grip has not moved on my gun and I love the Pearce pinky extender... not to mention the addition of my Williams Fire sights I just put on it to finish it off, I have my EDC set up perfectly and I love it.

Goes that grip feel tacky? Is anyone using it with a iwb kydex holster? Does it interfere with holstering or snag on your shirt?

I wouldn't say it feels tacky, but its not slick either. It just has a pretty good feel to it. I pocket carry with a DeSantis holster. It hasn't snagged on anything.

Ive used it in both a Hybrid and all Kydex with no problems. Like stated, its not tacky at all, but has just the perfect feel for me.

I have the Talon grips on my Shield too. They make a Talon piece for the Pearce grip? I know they make one for the stock extended mag. Did you cut that one down to fit the Pearce? Looks good!
