Just picked up a 3 year old Bodyguard .380. Noticed the Laser Buttons are very hard to turn on & off. Researched it and saw all of these posts here and on U-Tube. Well after seeing all of these rookies remedies on using straws, ink pen tubes, q-tips, rubbing the button for 10 minutes etc. I dug into the problem. I will provide a few pics.
Make sure pistol is unloaded
Use your manual and break down pistol
Your box with lock etc should have the long tool for loosening one screw that holds laser in frame. Loosen and gently use small flat head screw driver to lift out of frame.
If its a used pistol replace the batteries at this time.
Don't mess with gray rubber buttons at all on frame.
I used Color Coding Labels from Staples or Wal-Mart, 1/4" Round. Mine are made by AVERY. Cheap - 768 Labels for $2.50
Directly stick and stack 4 labels on top of each other on the switch of Laser.
I started with 5 but Laser switch became to light on on/off.
Use a needle to peel each label off in the stack to your liking.
Reassemble laser and check sensitivity to suit your pressure.
These labels are sticky but not to sticky!
It works flawlessly with 4 labels per side.
