So I've heard some talk about Smith cutting off selling barrels to consumers, is there any sources to obtain OEM threaded barrels?

Have you called S&W yourself? I was able to buy a 9c barrel directly from them a little over a month ago.
A quick over view, I called S&W and was able to place an order for a barrel. I hadn't heard anything for about two weeks so I called to check on the order status. The person I talked to this time said they don't sell barrels to the end user any more and my order would be cancelled. A week later I received the barrel in the mail. So I think it depends on who you talk to at S&W.

I bought an M&P 9 threaded barrel from here early December, they out of stock at the moment.
