Does anybody know how to get this fixed? This is what i get for letting my friend borrow my guns. I cant get the slide to move back far enough to get the locks in place or to flip the lever down to release the slide... I can pop the two smaller pins out but the lever pin cant come out because i cant lower the lever.. Theres gotta be a fix!!!:mad::confused::confused:

HA! That is hilarious, I've panicked before as well thinking it was stuck. This winter I'm making a hybrid with this same setup, but in 9mm. The part it gets hung up on is where the slide (the round part that the guide rod sticks through) hits the frame. It cannot POSSIBLY go back far enough to ever have latched properly.

Just keep fiddling with it, flip the lever, pull the trigger and shake / wiggle the slide until it pops off lol.

Remove the rear slide plate. Remove the striker. Make sure sear deactivation lever is down.

This is thinking outside the box, but it won't work. Without rotating the take down lever, the barrel can't get past it even without the striker getting caught on the sear.

Hmmm, there has to be a way that's better than "just fiddle with it." Let me think about this some more.
