Bianchi 82 carrylok holster for Shield

Hi, I am new to the forum and just purchased a new Shield 9mm. I am now looking for a holster since the two I have for my SCCY will not work. I am looking at the Bianchi 82 carrylok holster, which Bianchi says will fit the Shield. I found lots of good reviews for the holster, but only two that mentioned using it with the Shield model. One poster stated it fit too loose, not secure. The second poster just the opposite, stated it was a excellent fit with good retention. Anyone here have any experience with this holster and the Shield"?

Using the holster finder on the Safariland/Bianchi website says the Model 82 CarryLok is not compatible with the Shield. One for a different brand/model of gun might be close, but not exact and that may be what others are using.

I thought I had check and it said the Shield was compatible, but I checked again and your right. I must have entered the wrong info the first time. Thank you, I guess I will keep looking.

Welcome to the forum from the Pacific NW. I too am now on a hunt for a holster for my shield, but I am looking for open carry to be used at our local range steels matches. Anyone out there with a suggestion? it would be appreciated.

Take a look at the Safariland holsters. They have several different styles that fit the Shield. Some have retention devices, others don't, some have paddle attachments, some don't, some have both paddle and belt attachments. I have their ALS 6378 for my 40c and like it. They have also come out with their GLS holsters that I hear are nice too.

I was wanting a leather holster with a forward slant. After looking around I ordered this one from Winthrop Holsters. It will take two days to make, then will be ship (free shipping).
