MP Bodyguard .380 w/ GRN CT Laser: Pocket Holster???
I just ordered a MP Bodyguard .380 w/ the green Crimson Trace laser. It is a pretty new model and am trying to see if anyone else has one and has found a pocket holster that would work?
it looks like it has different dimensions than the original integrated laser BG .380, so I didn't think those holsters would work either.
A little stumped, and ideas? Thanks!
Product: M&P BODYGUARD® 380 Crimson Trace® Green Laserguard®
Update 1/14: The DeSantis Nemisis holster for the standard .380 Bodyguard with the integrated model would not fit it at all, it still had about 3/4" to seat all the way and it was way to tight. If you guys see another model that would work maybe for a different gun even feel free to let me know, thanks again!

I have the old model with the original laser. I have looked at the new ones. The dimensions are in my opinion the same. I use a sticky holster for pocket carry. I have the desantis also but I find that the rear sight hangs on the holster. the sticky works way better.

Don't know about the new models, but if you're looking at leather wallet holsters you can try Uncle George's and Red Dog Gunleather. Both are great quality holsters. Contact them both and they should be able to give you a yea or nay.

Walmart sells Blackhawk pocket holsters for about $10. You could probably go up a size and it might work ok. I use a size 3 without a laser so a size 4 might work. Probably not the best pocket holster...but cheap and easy until you get something better.

I have a Bodyguard 380, no laser. I use a Desantis Nemesis. Not sure if they make one for your model. But, I recommend that holster.

You might call Remora Holsters and see if they have something which would work or if they would make something which would work.

I have an LCP with that laser (although it's red) Cross breed holster and I use the techna clip most of the time.

The Desantis N38 works with or without the laser.
No need to order a different version for one or the other.

Any word on this? I'm running into the same issue with finding a pocket holster for this model - most of the ones I see fit the CTC red laser, but not the green laser.

The nemesis for the original bodyguard with the laser was a no-go, too tight. I also tried the Tuff Jr-roo size 12 holster with no luck.
I ened up with a nemesis for the LC9 for now which is too big but stays put for the most part. I will replace it with the correct nemesis when it comes out or I would like a little leather pocket holster if I can find one.

Just a side note ,we just got a new BG and on the 2nd. box of ammo it jammed. Could'nt pull the slide all the way back to clear it!. The little screw that holds the lazer in place backed out and caught the slide. It bent the screw. Have to send it back to S&W already. So check that the screw on yours is snug!!

Pocket holster for new Bodyguard 380
I have had one of the new bodyguards for about a week now, and I am having the same problem. Everything I have found so far is for the model that activates the laser on the side of the front side of the trigger guard. Mine crimson trace came on the pistol and is the green laser that attaches around the trigger guard and has the activation button under the guard on the front of the grip.
This makes the holsters that are designed to use the trigger guard as a molded security feature too narrow for the front of the trigger guard. I have purchased a Galco holster for pocket use at Amazon. Model J159L. It was a reasonable price and fits well except that narrow space in front of the trigger guard keeps it from going into the holster. It makes it about 1" too short.
I am thinking of taking the holster to a shoe shop and having him let out the seam in front of the trigger. I would then rewet the holster a mold the gun into it. Will see if it works

The biggest problem is the laser guard sticks out just a bit further and wider below the muzzle I think, so most stitching gets in the way.
I currently have a Remora 2RA for my bodyguard with the Grn CT laser guard (LG-454-gh). It was pretty tight at first, but after 24 hours of letting it sit, the holster stretched out.
The remora works okay, but it's not as "sticky" as I expected, so I'm not sure if I got one from a bad batch of material or not. I can't pocket carry or keep it between shirt/pants or it comes out with gun. The holster has to be against skin for it to hold. I might order one with a IWB clip, and just keep my current one for when I need to just throw it in the console of the car, etc.
It's also a little thick. I've been trying to find something like the Desantis pocket-tuk, although the bodyguard model "w/laser" (111NAU7Z0) doesn't fit. I'm tempted to pick one up for an LC9, and see if it fits. Or try the versa carry.(I need one that is tuckable)
There are a few online for a bit more. Crossbreed can now make holsters for the laserguards, and I came across this as well: https://clingerholsters.com/product/...inger-holster/
If anyone has any experience with a thinner IWB or pocket with the laserguard, please let us know.

Just an update. I ordered a desantis pocket-tuk designed for the LCP with crimson trace. It's holster number 111NAG5Z0.
It works a lot better than the one designed for the bodyguard if you have the green laserguard (LG-454G). It just came in today. The gun is snug and retention is well (takes about 8-10 shakes upside down for it to work free), and trigger is covered.
I will say that it is a LITTLE tight down front and it causes the front site to push out the thin leather at the bottom of the holster. If you were to upgrade to a BigDot or other after market sites, I don't think the holster would work. THe mouth is reinforced and makes the top 3rd flare out. Here's a somewhat terrible pic, but you can see the fit.
I'm hoping that after a bit of wear and break-in that the holster will mold to the gun a bit better and stretch just a tad bit down below. Otherwise it's back to a Remora.

i should be receiving my Mika pocket holster for green laser BG soon. never had experience with Mika, but everywhere i read about them was full of praise... they do appear thicker also but i will post pics when received compared to my Remora (for my PM9). You'd think desantis woulda been on top of making a Nemisis or Superfly for this???

They actually responded to my request. Said that since Crimson Trace never sent them an actual laser, they weren't going to make any. I guess demand isn't high enough for them to purchase a laser, and I don't think there are any model/blueguns that include the laser to purchase for fitting either.
The pocket-tuck for the LCP w/laser works okay, although I do like the feel of my remora better. I'll probably break down and buy a "2-in-1" model so I can have a clip for IWB.
I found I've been wearing my pocket-tuck more as a IWB than pocket carry, mostly due to the cut of my jeans and such.
Let us know how the Mika is, with pics if possible.

The Bulldog OWB size medium works great. I just did a 5 day motorcycle trip with no problems.

I bought this one off eBay for my with the Crimson trace green laser. Works and fits great. I just take the clip out for pocket carry. Does not stick to the inside of pocket though, but just a little flip of finger and it is loose from holster and out of pocket.

Nemesis used to come out often with the gun. I have a leather pocket holster now with a nice hook and it's much better, but i still press on the hook with my ring finger as I draw to make sure the holster stays put.

I would contact the manufacturer and try this one if they say it will work. I got this one with my BodyGuard but it doesn't have the lazer. I think it has room for it though...

Jackson leather work will custom make one for you with laser, but sounds like you already found one.

For those looking for a high-quality pocket holster for the new M&P Bodyguard. 380 with Crimson Trace green laser, hang tight! Uncle George’s Holsters is in the process of making one specifically to fit this unit.
For those not familiar with these fine holsters, check them out: Uncle Georges Wallet Holsters
I’ve had the classic Bodyguard with the integrated red laser for nearly five years, and have always carried it in an Uncle George’s holster that I love. I just upgraded my carry gun to the new model with green laser, and was disappointed that it won’t fit my trusty holster. Fortunately, George is working to resolve that, I’m test case #1. Once I get mine I will post back.
