THE BEST OF 2017?

I kinda like the STYER, but don't care much for the trigger lock, and the 2.0 ;)

To me each one has some pluses and minuses . I have the 9 mm 2.0 and the PPQ m2 I just bought because of the rebate . It's like each one has it's own personality so to speak and I am learning to shoot each one to the best of my ability . Most of these modern SF types seem more alike than different. Also really like the Shield for the single stack . Chasing the "best" gun can be a whole other thing lol .

No way in hell. If any of you shot the 9mm P320 you would not only love the feel in hand over the shield but the factory trigger is better than some replacement triggers like Apex.

Sorry, but shield or 2.0 dont come close to "best of 17."

Agreed on the trigger bit the grip is awkward.

Shield gets the Best Deal of 2017 with that $75 rebate and all.

whoa there...Opinion as fact much?

I have to disagree with you on the feel in the hand... I never have have liked the feel of the 320. feels awkward to me. But.... having said that...I shot one anyway at my range and I'll be god damned if i wasn't impressed with the way it shot! Almost like it aimed itself. First time shooting it I was able to mag dump about a 2in group at 7yds. blew the center right outta that sum'bitch. Usually can only do that with a gun that I work with for a while. I don't know... maybe it was just a good day but I was impressed. Still hate the way they look and feel though

This is why I never judge a gun by the way it feels. Always buy how it shoots and how fast I can shoot it accurately. Sometimes you get surprised. I have a Sig 2022, kinda awkward grip, I'm slower with it but that a DA/SA training issue but it's a soft shooting accurate gun

I own the L9-A1 and the trigger lock is actually a pretty good design. It's not a whole separate mechanism that could potentially break or have too many parts or anything like that. its integrated into the takedown button witch is literally one polymer button thing and a spring. the lock part you just turn the take down button with the little key and it blocks the trigger bar. very simple mechanism. and you have to push down and turn to engage it so there's no real chance of it accidentally engaging during carry or under recoil like some I've heard about.

it's a pretty cool piece. funky lookin too... I like that

Dan does a great job putting out daily content for his channel. I'm a subscriber. It's tough these days to compare, as just about everyone has a striker fired pistol similar, yet so different than Glock.

To me the best handgun is the one in your pants right now. As long as you are happy, it's the Best choice.
