M&P 2.0 Custom Backplate, Original fit?
I'm looking to get a 2.0 and i'd like to match the back plate to the one i have on my shield, a flatline ops backplate. Will the back plate that would fit the original M&P pistol fit the 2.0?

One time when I had a 1.0 and 2.0 taken apart to check parts compatibility, I swapped them around and they fit and functioned perfect. And the look identical. At least that's what I'm remembering... I've been known to make a mistake from time to time though. I can try to remember to check when I get home. PM me this weekend if you don't hear back on the forum and I can check it then. That is if someone else doesn't chime in with a confirmation.

just confirmed it. they swap right over. I was pretty sure it was the same part but I didn't want to give you bad advice.
don't you ever get distracted with those decorative plates on the back of the gun, right in your line of sight? I think they're kinda neat but I feel like they would throw off my aim or distract me or something....

Yeah I'm not a flashy guy nor do I want to crud up my gun with words. I just wanted to replace that part with a metal part and I like how it fits the gun aesthetically. I ordered it

The stock backplate is metal with a plastic overmold. All plastic wouldn't survive very long.
