I noticed that the lever has a lot of slop when not under tension.
It's like the hole in it is quite a bit bigger than the diameter of the pin it rides on. It allows the lower "finger" of the lever to drop down beside the slim tail of the trigger bar preventing the bar to snap all the way back into place until the trigger is pulled again. The bar snaps off of the upper part of the lever that it engages, and gives an audible and functional reset. But as I pull the trigger the next time, the bar snaps under the "finger" and it makes another click like the reset, only maybe not quite as distinct. So, I rack and pull the trigger all the way back, and then slowly release it..."click", then rack the slide and slowly pull the trigger and..."click" just a tad before the trigger breaks.
Said all this to ask,,,is the release lever supposed to be wobbly?
I have another one one on order, and will see if it looks the same. If so, I'll have to slightly bevel the side of that "finger" so it doesn't hang up on the tail of the bar. Any advice, ideas, or information much appreciated.
