Default Holster for Fueled by Ed Brown M&P

Hi all - I am looking for a good holster for my Fueled by Ed Brown M&P Metal. Does anyone know if holsters that fit the standard metal M&P 2.0 4.25" will also fit the Ed Brown version? Thanks for any advice you have.

It's still physically just an M&P handgun just with threaded barrel ! Pick what even brand you like and the tall sights are just CORE height .

Our carry handguns ride in a couple of IWB hybrids holsters from Comp-Tac with one thats 18 years old that now only carrys my lw commander and the MTAC holster for the M&P's is around 11 or 12 years old . Our newest holster is there Infidel Ultra max for a 5" m&p 2.0 PC 40sw . Tall sites do not matter on there holsters .

Remember, its still just an M&P .

I don’t know, but I wouldn’t put a gun that nice in a Kydex holster. There are countless high quality leather holster manufacturers that could probably make you a very nice holster for far less than $250.

I have a sample size of one so take it for what its worth. My M&P metal is very tight in my standard holsters, except for my 6290RDS.

I have a Blade-tech, a custom Kydex, and one of Gordon's Rhodesians. With the tall sights I cannot try it in my regular duty Safariland. S&W says the dimensions are identical to the polymer frame, but on mine the fit is just enough different to be sticky.

I seen more finsh wear from well boned leather holster than with Hybrid holsters at least from Comp-Tac . MY primary carry is a Blued slide LW Commander in a 18 year old kydex out half body . Now some leather holsters fit well but hold back on the boning for the leather and can add a suede lined that can reduce wear. Just don't expect to get one for a great price or with out several months wait .But how well do some so called highend OWB pin your handgun snuggly to your bodycan vari greatly .

If you decide you just gota have a leather holster be sure you get a liner added to it and Tucker Leather to me makes the best leather holsters and they have Hybrid and a newer appendix holster that's is lined But wait time can be out there !! I have a basic HF1 I wear occasionallydurring the colder temps thats real nice but I still prefer a good Hybrid Holster .

Picking I holster can be far harder than picking a handgun to carry most times . Good luck .

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like I need to decide if I want to keep it looking good or use it and let it wear. I will look at some of the leather options - appreciate the pointer.

I have several holsters from this manufacturer for different pistols. Although I have no affiliation with them other than being a satisfied customer, they make great products for any carry mode that protect my pistols with the added liner. Quality and fit are excellent. You can call them or chat online with any questions. Good luck with your search! Here's a link:

Well if EB is capable of a finish on the slide as good as S&W appled wear will not be an issue . MY most ward m&p is 11 or 12 years old and the slide still looks like new in my kydex front hald leather back half MTAC . I **** of a holster holster regardless of the material is simple a **** !

heck I have half of 7 years waear or a blued colt commander slide and the only wear is in the front edge of the slide , both edges !

Now If you ever have to use the handgun for a defensive need you know where it will be for a while . In a plastic bag dropped into in a box in police lockup not treated well .
