Default EZ9 vs Equalizer

Price, weight, and size seem pretty comparable between the EZ9 and Equalizer . The Equalizer has a greater capacity; which is not a deciding factor for me. One of these two pistols is in my future. The frame of the EZ9 is noticeably thicker than the frame of the Equalizer. I also like the loading tabs on the EZ9 mags. I’ve read in one review that the frame of the Equalizer is just as strong, even though it is thinner. Is anyone concerned about the thinner frame of the Equalizer?

Very thin polymer frames feel cheap and fragile. However, if they were breaking in significant numbers, the Internet would have told us by now.

Out of curiosity I bought a Slovenian Arex Delta L, just because I didn't have a gun from that country. It came at the right price, <$300, so WTH. The polymer is thin and hard feeling, like those glue together airplanes from our youth. I was concerned that it might be brittle, but I see no complaints on the Web. I have since discovered that the pistol is approved for NATO use, even having a NATO stock number, so I guess it cannot be all that fragile.

My arthritic hands dictate that I will soon be buying one of these two. Perhaps the popularity of the Equalizer along with increased capacity will cause a precipitous drop in the price of the EZ9(?). Capacity is not that big of a concern for me and I do like the loading tabs on the EZ9 magazines.
