Where can I buy magwell frame tool for M&P 2.0 competitor?

What is holding the grip module in place?
Not knowing the all the details (I'm OK with that), I suggest you contact the dealer/distributor if you bought it new. If you bought is "used", you may be out of luck.

Does your Competitor have a mag well installed?
If the answer is yes, remove the magazine and clear the firearm.
The illustration can be found in the owner's manual at the bottom of page 26 with figure 36b. Page 33 addresses removing that and refers to it as the retainer for the mag well in figure 70.
At the rear of the mag well, you should see a round post with a flat tab on one side.
Turn the flat tab toward the center of the mag well, about a quarter turn.
Grab the tab and pull out away from the gun. What you have removed is the assembly tool you're looking for. It is part of the firearm, not a separate tool you would find in a kit.
Once removed, you can change you grip modules.

Now I'm confused. Are you trying to add the mag well and need that particular part? That tool is what holds the grip as well. Can you post a picture of what we're working with?

Obviously a troll trying to get someone to ship an ITAR part out of the country. Otherwise they’d just contact a S&W distriubutor and purchase it themself.

Sorry for the thread revival, but I was looking for info on the Competitor and found this thread.
The Competitor uses two different frame tools, one with the magwell and the standard 2.0 frame tool to hold the backstrap without the magwell. Info is in the user manual but I am putting it here in case someone else finds this thread.

Maxwell tool missing
I just purchased a new Competitor (April 2025).as some mentioned..the magwell was included but the wrong tool..I got 2 of the T type that is noted to come with the standard but not the one sided flip style. Will call them tomorrow as I really want to use the magwell.
