Looking for sights for my M&P 9 2.0 Metal
I have an M&P 9 2.0 Metal that I would like to replace the sights on with fiber optic sights. I purchased an LPA adjustable f/o sight set that was listed as fitting a M&P 9 2.0 (but did not specify the Metal model), which is how I learned that some models have a wider rear sight dovetail set about 1/2" forward ov the back of the slide, and some have a narrower dovetail set only about 1/8" forward of the rear of the slide.
I was able to return the incorrect sights but am hesitant to repeat the trial-and-error process. Can anyone suggest how to get sights that fit, or recommend a particular set that you have successfully installed?
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice . . .

Looks like all the Metals are CORE with rear sight way back to clear the optic mount. Is yours?
I would contact Dawson.
Smith & Wesson(R), Gun Sights
But play it safe, don't just send an order, call and ASK.

All optics ready slide use "glock-style" sights.
As Jim posted, Dawson has FO sights for co-witness or non co-witness (if you don't want to use an optic).

Jim, yes, mine has the rear sight all the way back, about 3mm from the rear of the slide. I will call and verify. Thanks for the advice.

@jbradleyharris Apologies if I have hijacked your post. I believe you had the same sights on your metal that is on my M&P 2.0 3.6 OR gun. Tall suppressor height sights, correct? I have toyed with the idea of changing them to FO as at this time I am not running an optic. I think Jim Watson said it best, contact Dawson, I think I will do that.

Dawson also has non-cowitness sights for the M&P optics pistols if you don't want to run an optic. Nice to have options.
