Well, here's a new one. Like everyone else with a manual safety, mine was just about impossible to move. In working the safety to get it to loosen up, the spring snapped.

The testimonials and published issues on the quality and design failures of this firearm are becoming painfully difficult to read about. I love the look and feel of the BG2…. It has an amazing grip and feel for its size and weight, and I want it to be my primary pocket carry. But... I'm nervous.

I agree. What a fantastic feel this piece has. I've had my share of trouble, too, but have managed to work through them all. After 1000 rounds, I'm comfortable in believing it's as tried and true as any other semi-auto I own.

Nevertheless, the absolute worst debut of a handgun I've ever seen - and it all could have been avoided if only the mentality of quality reigned over the mighty dollar.

I bought mine because I wanted to have two small .380's in my lineup for very discrete summer carry when jogging or walking. Had the Ruger Max for two years and just fell in love with the BG2.0 when I held it and on top of that the glowing YouTube reviews. Very few negative ones. But it's been disappointing in several ways. Lots of ftf's, really stiff recoil spring and magazines that can't be filled to capacity without breaking a finger. Had to drift the rear sight over so it shot somewhat to point of aim. Just bad quality. I don't trust it and carry the Max (which has been flawless) 90% of the time. If I had to do it again I wouldn't have bought one so early in production.

Interesting to see. I purchased the safety version because of potential pocket carry. I like that it is really stiff so I know it’s not going to turn on or off on its own.

I’ll keep an eye on the spring.

My BG2.0 has been running great ever since I got it. No complaints from me.

My thoughts exactly! My LCP Max works perfectly but the grip on the Bodyguard 2 just fits my bigger hands so well...

LoL same here, I held it and it was like Cinderella's slipper! I had to have it. I put it in my closet until my XS sights get delivered because I can't shoot the factory sights worth a darn. You must have big hands like me. Even on the LCP Max my pinky hangs off the 12 round mag. Shooting at 7 yards with the factory setup (Which looked straight) I was 12 inches left and 6 inches low. I'm a better shot than that! I had to drift the front sight all the way left, almost outside the sight channel, to be on target. Maybe it'll have to go back to the Mothership with a skewed barrel, we'll see. I shoot my LCP Max 3 inch groups around the bullseye at 7 yards.
