That about covers it. Personally, I wouldn't remove the striker without a really good reason. Most of it is visible with the slide removed, and dirt can be brushed away. A puff of air down the firing pin hole will dislodge anything else.
Some folks here, and on the SIG board, are hell bent to detail strip the slide at every cleaning. Bad idea.
