Cool Carry Comp Compact

I understand that the Carry Comps changed the design of the LCI. I know with the older LCI, the go-to optic plates were/are the Calculated Kinetics, which I really like because of their design, which works wonders in reducing carbon buildup/fouling on the lens of the optic.

My question is, with the redesigned LCIs, are the Calculated Kinetics plates still the way to go, or is the new design good enough that I can go with Eleven 71 Design's plates? I have their RMR plate for my PDP & it's AMAZING. The tolerances & craftsmanship are 2nd to none. I've heard good things about Eleven 71's M&P plates, but don't wanna spend that much on a plate if I'm still gonna having an issue with carbon buildup on the lens of my sight.

So what's the verdict? Calculated Kinetics or Eleven 71?

You might have to make up your own mind But I see nothing about the eleven 71 that makes it special other than thicker that necessary ? If used on a defensive handgun besure you can see your stock sights !

I used the DPP thin plate on two of our m&p's with holosun optics and the stock metal plate on the earlier CORE models with a RM02 and just never felt the lens were hard to clean as needed . I kept a lens Pen handy to dust off the lens as needed. But if you buy a single lens dot optic its takes more care to clean the back side of the lens where dust settles if your CC .
