Does anyone make a gas piston conversion kit that will work on our MP-10? I checked on the Adams site but it looks like they do not offer one. I used an Adams kit on my Colt M4 (yes I own a brand X) and it was a easy install and a great upgrade. I would like to do the same on my MP-10 if I can find the right kit.

Why in the world anyone would spend money to make a gun heavier, less accurate, and less reliable is beyond me. Pistons don't make AR's run any better or more reliable, but they do have several cons.

I don't get converting an AR to a gas piston.

If you run them wet and clean every once in a while they are very reliable as is.

I have been shooting direct gas impingement AR's and M4s for 30 years, never had a problem..pistons on an ar are a solution to a non exist ant problem..makes the rifle heavier with more parts to break...jmho

The most opinions I ever hear on the value of a piston system is the lack of cleaning required after shooting. Myself I love taking apart my guns, fondling them and cleaning them as part of my shooting experience. I guess I may be a little wierd though.

I guess I'm alone on this, but I have a piston 5.56 rifle (weighs 6 lbs 10oz without my T1) that I really like. So much in fact I sold two DI 5.56 rifles. The advantage I see is being able to adjust the gas block and a cleaner rifle overall while shooting suppressed.
