Finally got to the range today with my Sport. I only shot 90 rounds, 62 grain Silver Bear HP. At 50 yards, elevation was right on, had to adjust the rear sight a little.

I knew I had it where I wanted it when I put two touching in the bull and a third one just a touch high and outside the bull in the 10 ring.

After that, I quit with the sand bags and just shot. I love this rifle! I look forward to spending more time at the range with it. I just shot 90 because my mount for my red dot has not come in yet. Only thing I would change so far is the rear sight. I do not care for the Magpul sight. I would prefer the A2 style sight that these were originally shipping with. Not that the Magpul is a bad sight, I am just more familiar with the other sight because that is what is on my .22 AR and my sons M&P 15-22.

First 200 rounds down range

Took my MP 15 to the range for the first time today. Got my scope sighted in after about 30 rounds only because my mount came loose and I didn't see it. After I tightened it up I was shooting 1" groups at 50 yards. I broke down and cleaned and oiled my rifle before going to the range. Didn't have one single FTP, fte or any other problem. Only issue I had was using stripped clips and loading the plastic magpul mags.. The stripper clip feeder slipped out of the grooves several times. Other than that, the gun rocked. Love it.

Also have a 15-22. That gun can eat out the bullseye at 50 yards as fast as I can pull the trigger, shooting from a table but not in a stand. Love it too.
