So, which one would you buy, or keep if you owned both? The M&P 15A has the Troy folding rear battle site, and chrome lined bore, etc. The Colt is the AR 15 A3, 'law enforcement only' version, with the heavy barrel. I believe the model is the 6921. Both rifles have the 1/9 twist barrel. Both are excellent, LNIB condition.

I already have a Colt 6920 LE, with the contour barrel.

How much would you value the M&P; $1,000...?

Thanks!

I'm all about brand loyalty. However, is the 6920 and the 6921 that different? Love my OE and wish I had Troy folding sights. If the 6920 and 21 aren't tht much different, I'd probably go with the Smith for a bit of variety.

I have the 15a, paid 870 for it. That's why I bought it. Buds guns has them for just over a grand, which is about 200 off retail.

I tend to prefer the contour barrel, its what I like, looks more like the real thing, to me.
