Default SD9/SD9VE-Differences?

I was at a gun show today. They had some SD9VE's in 9mm and .40. I asked them the difference between the VE and plain SD9mm. He could not tell me. That did not bode well for him as a gun sales person so I did not purchase the gun.

I own a SD9. I like it. I can see the difference between that gun and the SIGMA9VE......The only visible difference was my SD9 is all black, his SD9VE was two tone. I prefer the two tone finish. I just like the look better and I can actually see what Im cleaning.

So would anyone care to tell me the differences between the SD9 and the SD9VE?

To the best of my knowledge the SD9 has a Melonite finish, front night sight, rear metal sight.

The SD VE is Stainless steel has standard metal front sight, and a plastic rear sight.
The sights on both can be replaced with whatever you would like as they are both cut for M&P sights

There is a rumor that the triggers are slightly better on the VE but I can not confirm that.

I don't think so. Both equally ****** before Apex parts are installed.
