By now I assume no one makes a holster the the s&w 41 with the 7 inch barrel. At least I haven't been able to locate one. If no one does, what other holster will fit "good enough?"

I had an Uncle Mikes. Bought it in the early 80's. Not sure if it's still available. It was the only one around and the fit was good.
It might have been for a revolver...sorry do not remember. Try calling Uncle Mikes. And buy from a place that will take it back. Cabelas, etc. HTH. Frank

Gunbroker had an auction for a new old stock holster for the model 41 that has gone around a few times. It looked to be reasonable. (Part of a two holster set.)

It is actually in semi-auto pistols. Search for Bucheimer.

I have a Lawrence full flap field holster, custom made for my M41 with the 7-3/8” barrel, very lightly used. I no longer use it and have been thinking of listing it in the classifieds. If you are interested send me a message I will get photo along to you.

I'd be willing to bet that a nylon (i.e not to form fit) holster for a ruger MK III/III would fit reasonably close. Just a guess though.

I have a Bianchi, lined, that's just fine. You can probably find one on Ebay.
